Refresh to existing brand

 

Plan Insurance Brokers is an independent, market leading commercial insurance brokerage that has operated for over 25 years. They arrange high quality cover and provide intelligent insurance solutions to UK businesses. In November 2018, Winwood Haines successfully won a tender to refresh their branding.

 

The previous brand review in 2015 had provided a clear and rationalised identity with a distinct proposition to the commercial motor industry. However, the company had expanded into other insurance markets and needed a revised identity that would not only encapsulate their core services but also allow flexibility for brand longevity. Their existing campaign material had also run its course and needed a refresh.

 

Since the logo had only been created three years previously, it was not up for review. Our approach was to expand their existing brand. We increased the colour palette and assigned a brand colour to each core service area. We also updated and expanded the typeface options to allow for greater flexibility, and provided a fresh and bold take on imagery.

 

The new branding was applied to stationery, presentations, marketing material and social media, promotional items and the website. We also created comprehensive brand guidelines.
