Design and layout for fashion micro-enterprises

 

Goldsmiths, University of London is renowned for being at the forefront of creative and progressive thinking. I have supported their student recruitment and publication teams since 1997.

 

This report explores the challenges faced by small fashion design businesses in three major fashion cities—London, Berlin, and Milan. Set over 52 pages, each chapter uses a different highlight colour from Goldsmiths’ palette. A ‘half-tone’ map introduces each city, with pull quotes and thumbnail images breaking up the text and grid.

 

The publication was designed for both online and print distribution, with resolution-specific PDFs created for each channel.
