Alzheimer’s Society
Accessible publications
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity, advancing research and providing support to families and people living with dementia.
The charity produces a range of booklets and guides about dementia and how to access support. Since 2023, I have supported the editorial team with their publications. The booklets are typically A5 in size and range from 40 to 80 pages. Legibility and accessibility are essential – page layouts are simple with wide margins, short paragraphs and ample spacing. Text is set at a minimum of 14pt, and colours follow accessibility contrast guidelines.
Publications are available in print and as accessible online PDFs.
