Originally, I studied fine art but found my path when I moved over to graphic design. Defining form and function suited both my creative and analytical sides.
Having started out in the detail-focused world of government publishing, in 2004, I formed my own company, specialising in design for the public sector, charities and corporates.
As much as it’s a cliché, no project or working day is ever the same. I get to work with a variety of clients on a whole range of projects. And ‘working with’ is exactly what I do. I believe the creative process is a dialogue – firstly finding out about my clients, listening to their needs and vision, responding with my creative insights and then collaborating together to get the very best results. Many clients have stayed with me for more than 10 years.
Like many creatives, I always have a project on the go outside of client work. I’ll attempt anything whether that’s dressmaking, upcycling furniture or even glass-blowing. I love exploring new places and immersing myself in all things creative and cultural. I speak very rusty French, German and a bit of Italian.
I’m based in London (although I often work remotely with clients from all over the world).
